Simon Cozens wrote the original version. I (Simon Wistow) was working on something terrifyingly similar but not as advanced. Simon (the other Simon, do keep up) took my name and then when he decided to get out of this programming lark I took over and then promptly disrepestec his memory by gutting the whole thing and refactoring to use plugins. I like plugins.
It just does. I'm not a very good designer, ok. It'll eventually get updated so it looks nicer.
Because it's running against SQLite on a poor, tiny colo box that I share with 3 other people.
Cool! Please send me a decent bug report and I'll try and fix it. Or send a patch yourself.
I know. And the weird thing is that I have one old version which does work and I can't work work out what the difference is. Most puzzling :/
Well, you can use whatever templates you want but I want to do a decent theme system soon. They'll turn up in the next couple of releases or so once I fixed the bugs with UTF8.
Bah. No. That's just fancy web mail system which uses words like conversation when what they mean is threads.
Because I don't need it to. But someone's already requested a autheticated version so that you can have private lists at which point it'd be fairly trivial to add message sending.
Sure. Or you can write a plugin to do it.
I stole bits of it off my hosuemate who's not nearly as aesthetically challenged as I am.
It's called Hurry Up.
