Yeah, I'm not sure I want to go down the route of table-reserving, since
it's likely to lead to me spending half an hour sitting on my own at a table
for eight, being glared at by men in suits.

The interweb suggests that the Bleeding Heart isn't really geared up for
people just popping in for a pint.  I'm not sure I want the faff of
bill-settling as well as the faff of herding everyone out of the pub and
into the restaurant on time.
