I'm not a big pudding person but in Tahoe this year I went to a barbeque 
place that did sweet potato pie. 

It was like pumpkin pie only, you know, made by angels and kissed by the 
$gods of whatever you happened to believe makes mind blowing pie.

I shall attempt to find more recipes tomorrow when my 
not-web-but-inexplicably--ssh connection works.
