okay so i made this stuff tonight, following that recipe, except with 
the leftover polenta in my pantry along with whole milk instead of 
buttermilk.  it turned out pretty damn good, albeit a little too 
floury.  i'd probably halve the flour to 1/4 cup, but other than that, 
even with polenta, you get some tastyfine cornbread.

i think last time i tried just straight polenta and no flour and 
probably too little bicarb, so it turned out rubbish.
