I know someone who uses his breadmaker solely as an overpowered kneading machine, letting the dough rise outside the machine and baking it in the oven. I'd imagine he uses standard bread recipes. I should really see if my local baker will sell me fresh yeast, as I haven't baked bread for far too long. Also, for those that are interested, the Lighthouse Bakery in Clapham will give you their sourdough culture for free if you ask nicely. Sadly I killed mine through neglect, but I made some of the best bread ever with it. --JThere's stuff above here
