Austria wishes to announce to all nations that she has concrete intelligence that the rogue state of Italy has been building up arms in secret and plans a surprise attack upon Austria in the near future. We are a peace-loving nation, but Italy poses an imminent threat and must therefore be liberated forthwith. Italian crowds will be cheering in the street when they are freed from the iron rule of the dictator Zanardelli. Austria will look kindly upon all nations who refrain from interfering in this just and moral war. France would do well to concentrate on the Iberian Peninsula. Austria salutes the Czar and wishes him well in his efforts to bring stability to the nations bordering the Black Sea. To our Germanic brothers Austria wishes goodwill and pledges to respect her borders, provided the same respect is shown to Austria. So close are our nations, in fact, that Austria would be pleased to cement our relations with a pact of non-aggression and indeed co-operation.
