As much as i love bananas i'm still unconviced in curries (from
experience) and rice (from theory).

However one of my staple 'fruit with savoury' has been missed - leeks with
orange juice

fry leeks on a decent pan with butter until nicley yummy then add a splash
of orange juice if sauce think enough already, or add some flour to make a
vauge roux-ish mixture and dilute with the orange juice.

A variation is to add some cream (sans roux though!)
