Dunno.  It'll be the only source of fat in the soup apart from the chicken,
since I haven't got any cream so was going to leave that bit out.

I'd sort of prefer to cook it if I'm going to use it, being as it's a
month out of date.  Or is salami one of those things that doesn't
really go off that quick?
