So i went to a bbq yesterday.
I like spare ribs so i thought i would take some.
Plain spare ribs are quite dull so i though i best marinade them.
here follows the recipe.
In a bowl i mixed the folowing things. None of them mesured i just added
what i felt like.

Balsamic vinegar
cider vinegar
normal malt vinegar
soy sauce
olive oil
jalapeno tabasco
west indian pepper sauce
ground corainder
ground cumin
nandos peri-peri ketchup
sugar
heinz tomato ketchup.

Then covered the ribs with this and left them for 24 hours. they were
tasty.
So what sort of marinades would you do?

For the bbq i also did some burgers.

2lb mince
2 eggs beaten
1 green pepper diced
1/2 a large onion diced
2 spring onions
A handful of coriander
3 teaspoons of grated horseradish. ( A local market store sells grated
wild horseradish in jars)
salt
pepper
4 cloves of garlic roughlg diced
1 red chilli diced.

Now as we've discussed before i wouldn't normally use eggs to help binding
however while mixing eveything else together i felt that it wasnt going to
stay together because of all the green stuff. So i added the eggs.

these worked very well on the bbq. Unfortunetly the other tastes were
overpowered by the coriander and they all possibly had far to much green
pepper in.
