Aha if they are marrows this recipe works very well.

i added more garlic and paprika.
Also i suspect it could take some chili as well if you were that way inclined.

The other way to eat marrows is of course to just peeel slice and decore then boil.
They have a very subtle flavour ( ie possibly none)
