Come to think of it, I've been on a bit of a raw meat thing recently too. I picked up some thinly sliced venison at Borough Market, which I ate with a little horseradish and a nice Chianti. Last night I had a very nice very simple salad with my sossidges. An onion Three tomatoes One and a half bell peppers (one green, half a yellow, mostly because it looked pretty) Some random mushrooms Some mini peapods The juice of half a lime A generous teaspoon of pesto Chop it all up, not too fine, not too coarse. Very nice. Actually I used two onions but it was a bit too oniony. > In the Good Book of our Lord Heston (or is that going too far?) Which book is this? For lo, the LORD in his GREAT MERCY did write unto the gentiles at least two books, and there was much rejoicing. I have sossidges tonight too, and taters, and sauerkraut. That's something I'd like to try making, sauerkraut. It has the same potential for disaster as brewing, and dancing along the edge of failure is always exciting. -- David Cantrell | top google result for "internet beard fetish club" "Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats." -- H.
