Lately I have mostly been feeling that Unix as a whole is designed
as an OS for people who want programming to be the model used to solve
most/all tasks, and is unlikely to be entirely suitable for people who want
to use a different model.
This to me seems to be a more useful way of looking at things
than saying it has poor usability, or isn't consistent, or whatever.
Whilst usually true, such comments usually also suggest that
whatever_attribute is good, and $thing sucks for not having that
attribute. Which isn't so good.
