With Turkey it's prudent to forge an alliance with the Russkies since
this is mutually beneficial to both of you. Getting bogged down
scrapping in the otherwise useless botoom right hand corner just saps
resources. Turkey should be pushing out to the med as fast as possible.

Ah, I see you heeded my warning in advance.

I was playing against a first timer last time I played and they refused
to stop harassing me, egged on by another player. The result was that I
got sapped and, although he looked to be in a strong position, he was
just about to start losing peices each move because he had no where to
expand.

Personally I was going to try and team up with Robbie in Germany and
take Belgium whilst he takes Holland.

For reference we're in Spring 1901. In the real world

Queen Victoria died and the Federation of Australia was formed, the
first Oil in the US was discovered in Texas and Louis Armstrong was
born.
