Hmm - I think this is rather exaggerated. I've never left a supermarket with
a headache and I like being able to go to one place and get all that I need.
I don't buy into organic food necessarily being healthier than non-organic
food (though I'll concede it's better for the environment). I don't see what
the problem is with drinking cows' milk (and indeed, if you were going for
the most natural version possible, you'd be buying unpasturised full fat
milk, not pasturised skimmed milk). What's the problem with GM foods? (in
terms of health - indeed, arguably they are healtier, since fewer
pesticides etc will need to be used on them).

The problem isn't the supermarkets themselves, the problem is what people
are choosing to buy in them. If you're going to buy pre-packaged snack food
then the chances are that it's going to contain specifically added
chemicals.

I'm lazy and tend to do my shopping on the way home in the evenings. When
I'm feeling organised and want a lot of bulky things I get Tesco to deliver
to me, but I don't do that very often.
